Description
Essential Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all project Health Safety and environmental policies are complied with.
- Deliver project deliverables on time and within approved budget.
- Achieve safety standards as defined in Personnel Performance Contract
- Simulation of processes using Hysys, Pipesim, Flarenet, Pro2.
- Provide technical guidance relating to codes and standards such as ASME, ANSI, API, BS, MS and Local regulations.
- Provide technical guidance and input relating to material selection and specification.
- Participate in technical design audit or checking when required.
Review the following deliverables:
- Heat and material balances
- Process Flow Diagrams
- Piping and Instrument Drawings
- Plot Plans
- Equipment data sheets
- Vendor drawings
- Vendor shop inspections
- 3 D model
- Start-up / operating manuals
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Liaise with engineering sub-contractors and Vendor’s.
- When in place liaise with construction subcontractors
- Lead and develop the process engineering team to maximize their contribution and grow their engineering capability.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Strong chemical engineering first degree from a first class institution.
- Chartered chemical engineer or equivalent
- Knowledge of industry codes and standards applicable to Oil and Gas and Refining Industries
